INTERDEPARTMENTAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE

«THE U.S. IN MODERN INTERNATIONAL TRANSFORMATIONS:

CONCEPTUAL AND APPLIED DIMENSION»

Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv supported by the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM, National Institute for Strategic Studies, Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, NATO Information and Documentation Centre in Ukraine holds interdepartmental scientific conference (scientific readings in memory of Professor Ye. Kaminsky) «The U.S. in modern international transformations: conceptual and applied dimension».

The conference will be attended by researchers, representatives of diplomatic missions, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, post-graduate students and journalists.

The purpose of the interdepartmental scientific conference: to consider the current international political issues, to figure out the transformation trends in international relations, to analyze the factors of strategic partnership in modern conditions and to consider the political, security, economic, legal and information aspects of modern foreign policy.

 

TOPICS OF INTERDEPARTMENTAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE

 

1. Trendsof global leadership in the modern world;

2. Foreign policy and security strategies in conditions of the international instability;

3. Conflicts of the XXI century: new trends and challenges;

4. United States in international relations (the U.S.–Europe / NATO, the U.S.–Russia, the U.S.–China / Asia-Pacific region, the U.S.–Latin America, the U.S.–Middle East / Africa, the U.S.–Ukraine).

 

Conference will be held at Kiev, Melnikova st., 36/1, Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (beginning at 10.00).

Working languages: Ukrainian, English, Russian.
